* Lessons are 20 minutes, 1 lesson a week, lesson times rotate each week so that students don't miss the same class lesson each time.

* For Brass, Woodwind and Violin lessons, instruments are loaned to the student to take home.

 

* Cost of lessons:-

- £70 a term for individual lessons (approx. 12 lessons)

- £40 a term for shared lessons (approx. 12 lessons)

- FSM students - free

- GCSE Music students - free

* Students are expected to rehearse at home in between lessons and will be given a rehearsal log to keep note of what needs to be rehearsed and also to be signed off each time they rehearse.

* Students who have instrument lessons will also be expected to join one of the available extra-curricular groups (choir/trumpet group/clarinet group/flute group etc.) to help further developed their playing and ensemble skills.

* It is the responsibility of the students to rearrange instrument lessons if they are not able to make it due appointments/sports day/practical D&T or Science lessons etc.
